The Experience


Before the session...

Prior to your portrait shoot, we will have a brief conversation so that I can learn a little bit about you and we can talk about the motivation for your photo shoot. We will also discuss what you should or shouldn't do in the days leading up to the session, the day of the session and what you should bring with you. I'll cover what happens at the shoot and you'll have a chance to ask any questions you might have.

To book a session, you will need to prepay the session fee. This will reserve and confirm the date and time of the photo shoot. If you need to cancel your photo shoot, session fees are refundable up to one week prior to your scheduled shoot date.


During the session...

The day of the photo shoot is your day. It is my responsibility to guide you through the shoot and take amazing photos of you. So you just get to relax. We will lay out all of the outfit choices you brought, style different looks for you, let you change into your first look, do any touchups and then start shooting.


After the session...

When your photo shoot has wrapped, we will schedule a private image reveal/ordering appointment. Generally, this will take place about two weeks after your session. If additional ordering sessions are needed, they can  be scheduled for $100 per extra appointment.

At this appointment, you'll get to see your reveal images. For a Mini session, this will be approximately 8 images and for a Portrait session this will be approximately 25 images per person. The number of reveal images for a Group session will depend on the number of people and purpose of the session.


Retouching...

All reveal images will be lightly retouched to the photographer's discretion. Additional retouching can be requested for an additional fee. If you have any specific concerns, I'm happy to have a conversation with you about those prior to the shoot.
